The straight and the curved line. Viennese Art and design around 1900 up until now.
Josef Hoffmann and Koloman Moser at The Wiener Werkstätte, Adolf Loos and his radical modern approach, the sisters Flöge, friends with Gustav Klimt, reformed the way we dress and Margarethe Schütte-Lihotzky designed the Frankfurter Kitchen. Viennese design and art was decorative, expressive, functional and abstract, but most of all innovative. In this city tour we will look at some outstanding examples of Viennese art and design protagonists and have a look at what is going on today.
