Otto Wagner – Anniversary Tour: the man who made Vienna modern.
No one else coined Vienna architectonically as much as Otto Wagner did around 1900. He made Vienna fit to become a metropolis right at the time when monarchy was in decline. His students were significantly involved in the construction of social housing of the following socialist period. On this tour we will trace down the man and who turned Vienna into a Gesamtkunstwerk and his influence on the contemporary city (some exclusive interior visits included).
